Elevated Roof Garden in Hamrun

We were in charge of creating an elevated garden in Misraħ is-Sebgħa ta’ Ġunju 1919 Hamrun, in which we have planted hundreds of shrubs, plants and mature trees to be enjoyed by the public.

Our aim was to improve the quality of life of residents within this high-density urban area. An existing water reservoir was also cleaned and restored in order to irrigate the plants in the garden. All this whilst providing a shaded parking area for cars underneath the roof garden.

Access to the garden is through an elevator or stairs. Residents can make use of the benches along the garden, which will act as a relaxing space away from their homes.
